WG3: WORKSHOP AND CONFERENCES

Presentation of research activities, related to IMC as two workshops and four conferences will be managed by working group 3 (WG3), which aims, to organize collaborative research initiatives for promoting breakthrough ICT and medical research.

Workshop & Conferences

Intelligent Medical Services over TEIN is the 3rd iteration of the workshop. Similar to previous workshops, the workshop is based on two sessions. Session-I deals with an introduction of the AI-Doctor (an intelligent medical platform) and a digital solution for monitoring COVID-19 patients. AI-Doctor presents a high-level bird eye of the intelligent medical services and their under the hood technical mechanisms. Afterward, CoSMoS, a digital system for COVID-19 patients efficient monitoring is presented. The role of intelligent information systems is acknowledged in efficiently handling the patient influx while at the same time providing meaningful data analytics to the decision makers. In session-II the role of high-speed networking and cloud computing are discussed in details along with their role in the 4th industrial revolution. Finally, the role of a decision support system for low back pain silo is discussed from a physician’s perceptive. The workshop concluded with positive feedback from the participants. Furthermore, a number of NREN representatives showed interest in joining the IMS-TEIN project.
