WG2: HUMAN RESOURCE EXCHANGE FOR SUMMER SCHOOL
This working group manages the exchange of Human Resources for Summer school, with the aim, to build, enhance, and share expertise through mutual collaborations for knowledge sharing, leading to mutual enhancement of wisdom. Based on this expert exchange, the summer school will be organized at UCLAB, Kyung Hee University, South Korea. Following is the proposed summer school plan for the first-year session in 2019 and second 2020.

OUTBOUND SUMMER SCHOOL
The outbound summer school 2020 is the continuation of the human exchange and capacity building activities in the umbrella of the Asi@Connect project. In this regard, the summer school is the second iteration of the activity. The main objective of the outbound summer school is to train professionals in the healthcare domain to effectively utilize clinical decision support systems (CDSS). We have designed and developed a CDSS system for low back pain diagnosis. This system is realized with the collaboration between the University of Malaya (Malaysia) and the Kyung Hee University (Korea). The summer school activity is based on two sessions. In the first session, an overview of the technology is given while in the second session a demonstration and hands-on training are given to the summer school participants.

INBOUND SUMMER SCHOOL
The main objective of this summer school is to present and demonstrate the state of the art medical informatics applications in the area of thyroid cancer, cardiology, diabetic retinopathy, diabetes management, chronic kidney disease, among others. The stated activity would comprise of a set of introductory presentations along with realtime demonstrations of the aforementioned applications. Medical applications included in this session would deal with patient diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring. These presentations would be beneficial for medical experts, medical researchers, medical staff, and students in broadening their knowledge of healthcare informatics.
